5. From the Customer/Project dropdown option, select the project.

 

6. Click the Save button.

 

Timesheets for projects

 

1. Choose + New.

 

2. Choose Time entry.

 

3. Select a worker.

 

4. If necessary, adjust the date range and choose a day.

 

5. Enter the number of hours worked, or turn on Start/end times to enter a start and end time for that day.

 

6. Click Add work details to add the project and charge the timesheet.

 

Check the box if you wish to use a custom rate for this timesheet. Enter your desired amount and use the custom rate.

 

7. Click Done.

 

8. Choose Save and Close.

 

PROCESS 4: Bill your customer for any billable expenses

 

Return to the project's Overview tab now that you've made all of your project expenses and timesheets chargeable.

 

1. Choose Add to project, then Invoice.

 

2. From the Customer dropdown menu, choose the customer you want to invoice.

 

3. The Add to Invoice window will display your chargeable expenses and timesheets. Include all chargeable costs or hours in the bill.

 

Please keep in mind -  that the billable rate is directly related to the Product or Service item on the Timesheet. The Sales Price will determine the rate. If the timesheet does not include any product or service item, the chargeable rate will be determined by the billing rate outlined in the Employee profile.

 

4. Finish the invoice and mail it to your customer.

 

If you want to send an invoice for individual expenses or timesheets:

 

1. Proceed to your project.

 

2. Navigate to the Transactions section.

 

3. Look through the list for the billable expense or timesheet.

 

4. From the Action column, choose Create invoice.

 

5. Finish the invoice and email it to your customer.
